In short: this website sets no cookies, does not track visitors and does not load content from third-party servers. Your choice between light and dark theme is stored only in your browser.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in a data centre in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

With every request, the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system, HTTP status code and amount of data transferred. We need this data to deliver the website, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Contact by phone, email or form

If you contact us, we process your details to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The contact form is hosted on aepfelbirnen.de, where the privacy policy of aepfelbirnen.de applies. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
